Pacaya Volcano ATV Tour

7 hour tour
from Q935.00
The Pacaya Volcano is the most active volcano in Guatemala, with a height of approximately 2,500 meters above sea level. The environment is made up of wet forests and rocks. It has stunning views of the Calderas Lagoon and three other volcanoes: Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango. On our unique Adventure we will take ATVs from San Vicente Pacaya to one of the craters of the Pacaya Volcano. Once at the base of the lava flow we can take a hike to the tip of the cráter and very up close to the lava if its flowing, here we can take some time to cook hotdogs, melt some chocolate, and heat up some marshmallows from the steam coming out of the rocks before heading back down to the vehicles. The hike from the parking área of the ATVs to the top of the cráter could take up to 45 minutes depending how high up the volcano you wish to go.The Pacaya Volcano is the most active volcano in Guatemala, with a height of approximately 2,500 meters above sea level.
